February 10, 2022 NY – Working Together For Neighboring Rights (video)

A Conversation with IAFAR and Songtradr
The International Association for Artists & Rightsholders (IAFAR) is an organisation that educates artists and rights holders on neighbouring and related rights. The organization was formed because we all face the same issues. There is power in numbers. If you’re unable to do your job because of something beyond your control, that can make you feel powerless. Our goal is to restore that power to the people who should have control in the first place – those contributing to the recordings.
IAFAR has partnered with a variety of music organizations such as the MMF UK, MMFUS, Music Business Association, Women in Music, SONA, SCL, PMA, and more to present panels, Webinars, workshops and events to help de-mystify Neighboring Rights in North America and with our sister organization in the UK. All were well attended globally and generated a series of spin off events to look at questions raised by attendees. This educational panel discussion will peel back the onion on a very misunderstood topic. Speakers:
• Dennis Dreith, Chairman and co-Founder Transparence Entertainment Group
• Stacey Haber, Co-Founder, InsideBaseball Music Publishing / Owner, The Music Firm / CLO (Chief Legal Officer),
