We are seeking an experienced music rights clearance specialist to join our Los Angeles team. 

What you’ll do 

• Handle sync clearances from A-Z: negotiate fees and terms, liaise with rights holders 
• Negotiate, draft, and issue synchronization and master use licenses for various media and territories, including all revisions to license agreements, invoicing and follow up. 
• Support the Synchronization Licensing team by monitoring all requests in our system; providing lyrics, sound files, credit, cue sheet, and other information to clients, as required. 
• Support the Business Affairs team with ad hoc tasks 
• Represent TSM at industry events in the Los Angeles area 

What you bring to the role 

• 2+ years experience in a similar role 
• Strong understanding of music rights and licensing procedures 
• Experience in negotiating and drafting contracts 
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines 
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail 
• Genuine interest in music 

This is primarily a remote position, however, we are seeking a LA-based candidate as there will be some in-person work required. 

Salary Range: TBD

This role is a full-time 6 month contract, with possibility to renew.
