Beyond The Synch: Where Creativity & Business Collide

October 22 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Sync has evolved far beyond finding the right song for a scene. Today, music supervisors, publishers, artists, labels, and rights holders are navigating global audiences, emerging technologies, tighter budgets, accelerated timelines, and an increasingly complex rights landscape.

This panel takes a close look at how synch & licensing actually get done—finding the song, clearing rights, structuring deals, securing approvals, and weighing options, all while keeping creative vision intact.

We’ll unpack how music discovery and pitching feed into the licensing process, what’s changing in how rights are negotiated and granted, and how the relationship between supervisors and the broader music industry is evolving as a result.

What does it take to license a song successfully—and where is it headed next?
