The Linda Komorsky Scholarship Committee seeks its 5th Annual Recipient
March 23, 2024 (Los Angeles) – The Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP) commenced its fifth annual Linda Komorsky AIMP Scholarship with visits to music industry students at University of Southern California (USC), Cal Poly Pomona, University of Southern California (UCLA), and California State University – Northridge (CSUN). This year, a student will be awarded $4,000 to help complete their education.

The Scholarship Committee — consisting of Chair, Barbie Quinn, Sr. Director, Administration & Publisher Relations, BMI and AIMP LA Chapter Board Member; Eric Polin, SVP-Music Publishing, Universal Pictures, and AIMP LA Chapter Secretary; Garrett Johnson, Esq, Garrett M Johnson Law and AIMP LA Chapter Board Member; Jonathan Haskell Alibi Music and AIMP LA Treasurer, and Juliet Lyons, AIMP LA Director of Administration — spoke with students about the scholarship, and answered questions about the music business. They will review qualified applicants and recommended a student to be confirmed by the AIMP LA Chapter Board of Directors.
The scholarship award will be presented at AIMP LA’s spring in-person event, scheduled for May 9, 2024.
