Frank Handy
Frank Handy is a dynamic music industry executive with a proven track record of driving revenue, managing teams and operations. Frank has passionately been serving music creators since 2005 when he first started at Bug Music (now BMG) and worked his way up to Sr. Copyright Administrator there before moving to Bicycle Music (now Concord). Presented with the opportunity to join the growing team at SONGS, Frank was an integral part of growing that company to be one of the biggest independent music publishers in the world. Working with such iconic songwriters as The Weeknd, Lorde, Diplo, DJ Mustard, the George Gershwin estate and many others. Currently the VP, Head of Operations and Administration at Position Music, Frank oversees global copyright, royalties, licensing, income tracking, YouTube and digital distribution duties. In addition to identifying new revenue streams and working with the VP of Finance in apprising catalog purchases and signings. Currently Vice President of the AIMP (Association of Independent Music Publishers).

Eric Polin
This high-level entertainment industry executive has over 30 years of experience, ranging from film to music to TV to home entertainment. He has identified and developed strategic initiatives worth tens of millions of dollars, and has a proven track record of achieving sustained double-digit income growth for his companies and their clients.
Eric Polin is the founder of EMP Music Publishing, which specializes in music publishing administration and music business consulting.
Previously, he served as Sr. Vice President of Music Publishing at Universal Pictures where he oversaw the administration of their film and TV music catalog dating back to 1928. Before that, Mr. Polin was a partner at Wixen Music Publishing where he oversaw the publishing administration of some of the top songwriter/artists in the industry.
Mr. Polin serves as VP of the board of directors for the LA Chapter of the Association of Independent Music Publishers. He is also a past president of the California Copyright Conference and is the founder and chairman of their scholarship committee. He has moderated panels on social justice in music copyright, finding music royalties, artist managers, independent music publishing, film music, and digital distribution.
Mr. Polin has been quoted in The New York Times, and his opinions have been published by Billboard magazine, The Hollywood Reporter, and the U.S. Copyright Office. He is a frequent guest speaker at the music industry programs of Northeastern University, Cal Poly Pomona, and Cal State Northridge, having also participated in industry events at those schools as well as at USC and UCLA.
He holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BA in Economics from UCLA.

Yvonne Drazan
Born and raised in L.A, Yvonne Drazan has been in the music industry for over 30 years. She is currently the VP Latin Division at peermusic, where she began in 2003 as Creative Manager. She represents many writer/artists including Gloria Trevi, Mala Rodriguez, Molotov, Lupita Infante, Gaby Moreno, Alex Anwandter, El Komander, and Chiquis, among others. Her experience includes Label Manager for Gustavo Santaolalla’s imprint Surco/Univesal, (Juanes, Molotov, Bajo Fondo) and coordinating his film scoring work (Amores Perros, Motorcycle Diaries) as well as outside productions (Café Tacuba, Kronos Quartet). Prior to Surco, Drazan was the National Manager of Media Relations at Rhino Records (Los Lobos, Ramones, The Cars, Devo), was a road manager for various Latin Rock artists (Caifanes, Maldita Vecindad, La Castañeda) and a marketing assistant at EMI Latin (Selena Quintanilla, Jon Secada). Drazan began her career in 1988 as the co-founder of Club Rock En Español, the first organization to promote Latin Rock music in the United States.

David Quan
David Quan is a 30 year veteran of the music industry and is an expert in all facets of Music Publishing. He is currently the Head of Licensing & Administration at The Greater Goods Co. His duties include business affairs, licensing, copyright, and royalties. He has worked for such notable companies as Leiber & Stoller, All Nations Music, Warner/Chappell, BMG, Universal Records, PeerMusic, Angry Mob Music, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and NBCUniversal. Quan holds a BS Degree in Marketing from the California State University, Los Angeles and an MBA with a concentration in Corporation Finance from USC. He currently serves as treasurer of the Association of Independent Music Publishers and he was a two term President of The California Copyright Conference.

Bryan Bakke has over a decade of experience in the music and entertainment industry and is currently the Director of Business Development at Orfium, a music technology company and the global leader in digital rights management. He spearheads strategic partnerships, fosters relationships with platforms, labels, and publishers to empower rights holders to generate record-breaking value from their catalogs. Prior to joining Orfium, Bryan worked at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) in tour marketing, working on arena sized tours with some of the most notable touring artists. Marc Caruso
Over his 25 years in the music industry, Marc Caruso has been an Emmy-nominated music editor and entrepreneur, and is currently CEO/Co-Founder of Angry Mob Music, an independent Los Angeles-based music publisher dedicated to championing the rights of songwriters, composers, and artists in the entertainment industry. In the 15 years since its inception, Marc has transformed Angry Mob into a multifaceted music company with successful ventures in music licensing, master rights management, creative development, and custom music production. He has personally led signings with artists, songwriters, and producers who went on to secure cuts with Shaboozey, Nora En Pure, Morgan Wallen, Russel Dickerson, Chance the Rapper, and 3LAU, among many others.
Previously, Marc served as Executive Producer at Red Arc Music Group, overseeing publishing and licensing for film and TV, and spent eight years as President of Reel Fusion, Inc., leading music editorial for film and TV production.
Marc is a former President of the L.A. Chapter of the AIMP and a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, The Recording Academy, and The Motion Picture Editors Guild. He also represents Angry Mob on the NMPA’s Independent Publishers Advisory Council and Team 100.

Gabi Cote
From her humble beginnings as a college radio DJ, Gabi made her way to Position Music in 2022 where she currently handles synchronization licenses for Film, TV, and Video Games. She began her at Dare To Care Records (now Bravo Musique), a prominent Montreal label – working with some of Quebec’s most prolific acts. In 2018, she pursued Business Management degree at UCLA and attended Harvard Law’s CopyrightX course, while working for Italo disco/synth pop cult label Italians Do It Better – where she handled both licensing and label duties.
In 2024, Gabi was appointed Chair of the AIMP LA Young Professionals Committee (YPC), where she’s focused on fostering connections and empowering the next generation of music publishing executives. Since starting their work, the YPC has hosted a number of networking events and launched the Pub Pals program – a space meant for young music publishers to establish relationships while navigating their careers with support.

Debra Delshad
Debra Delshad is a 20-year veteran of the music industry. Most recently, she spent 10 years as Senior Director of Synchronization and Music Licensing at Angry Mob Music before pivoting to pursue more fulfilling opportunities within the music community. Debra is currently consulting on music and licensing for a new music app she’s excited about and recently completed projects for Worth the Wait (film) and The Broad Museum. She continues to work with independent artists and writers on synch opportunities and publishing deals with emerging companies.
A member of the Recording Academy, Debra has also served on the board of the California Copyright Conference. Known for her ability to close deals, she has secured music placements in television, film, streaming platforms, commercials, and video games.
Throughout her career, Debra has held roles at EMI Music Publishing, Anthem Entertainment, and DreamWorks Music Publishing. Passionate about giving back, she is a frequent speaker at industry events, including the Billboard Music Conference, Nashville Film Festival, ASCAP Expo, Musexpo, BMI, Musicians Institute, Los Angeles College of Music, and Women in Music.
Debra holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and a law degree from Loyola Law School. Her work was featured in Variety for her contributions to the soundtrack of Netflix’s Bridgerton and as one of the “Female Executives of Iranian Descent Making an Impact in the Music Industry.”
When she’s not working, Debra enjoys photography, traveling, attending live shows, and spending time with her two children.

Garrett Johnson is a member of the Bars of New York and the District of Columbia specializing in entertainment and tax law. Currently representing a wide spectrum of creative talent and industry participants, including musicians, authors, recording artists, composers, screenwriters, playwrights, record producers, artist management companies, independent film makers and record labels, Mr. Johnson is also active in the provision of music publishing administration services and the facilitation of Trademark applications, as well as general business formation. Subject matter handled has included but not been limited to the negotiation of recording, distribution, publishing and talent agreements, film and television option agreements, catalog acquisitions, copyright terminations, management and live performance contracts and facilitation of PRO affiliations.
Active with the Entertainment Law Forum of the American Bar Association, Past President of the California Copyright Conference (CCC), current Board Member of the Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP) and the Independent Gospel Artists Alliance (IGAA), as well as a Gold Member of the Society of Composers and Lyricists (SCL), Mr. Johnson speaks regularly on legal and business issues in the entertainment industry in a variety of venues.
Prior to entering private practice, he was an attorney in the Office of the General Counsel at the National Endowment for the Arts in Washington, D.C., providing counsel to agency staff in legislative, personnel and intellectual property matters. He received his A.B. in economics from Columbia University and J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.

Charley Londoño brings a rare combination of specialized entertainment legal services and executive level music industry expertise. Primarily practicing in the areas of music, film, television, and new media, Mr. Londoño counsels both companies and individuals regarding transactional issues. His practice concentrates in the protection, clearance, licensing, and distribution of intellectual property rights.
Prior to beginning his law career, Mr. Londoño was a record company executive. Throughout his career, he worked in the radio promotion departments of Arista Records, A&M Records, IRS Records, and MCA Records.
Mr. Londoño received a B.S. in Business Administration–Finance from the University of Florida and a J.D. from California Western School of Law.
Londoño is a member of the State Bar of California, the Florida Bar Association, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the California Copyright Conference, and the Association of Independent Music Publishers. He is a past president of the California Copyright Conference and instituted its annual Apollo Awards ceremonies.

Sherry Orson is a successful Music Publisher and Licensor, securing music for television shows on every major network, as well as with major label artists, advertising brands, and in motion pictures.
Ms. Orson began her career in the music industry as a Creative Manager during the Richard Branson years at Virgin Music Publishing in Los Angeles. She then moved to Universal Music Group as Director of Creative Services for nearly a decade, expanding her expertise in music publishing and licensing. While at Universal, she placed songs with major labels for on platinum artists. In 2007, she joined musician and actor Steven Van Zandt, representing his music publishing company and rock label, where she facilitated placements for his roster with major brands. Ms. Orson now represents emerging artists and music catalogs for licensing in all media through her own company, Star Vibe Group.

Barbie Quinn
Barbie Quinn is Sr. Director Distribution & Publisher Relations at BMI, based out of the company’s LA office. She joined BMI nearly 13 years ago and is part of the team responsible for the ongoing development of royalty payment policies and procedures for the use of music in audio-visual productions performed online, including emerging social media platforms. In this role, Barbie is also responsible for BMI’s music use reporting and television performance-related initiatives. In addition, she maintains and develops relationships within the music publishing, composer, and music production communities by answering inquiries and educating key constituents on BMI policies and procedures daily. Prior to BMI, she held senior positions at EMI Music Publishing and Warner Chappell Music. Barbie has served on the AIMP Board for 10 years in various capacities such as an Officer, chair of the AIMP Linda Komorsky Scholarship, chair of Events, and various committees.

Jessica is currently Vice President of Film Music Publishing at NBCUniversal, overseeing the studio’s hundred-year-old film and legacy tv music catalog. Prior to her tenure in film music, she spent a decade on the publishing administration team at Rhino Entertainment, where she cleared publishing for their legendary box sets and compilation albums.

With 25+ years film & television music industry leadership, Todd is a visionary for composer/songwriter growth and a passionate advocate who has championed the creative community at all career levels fostering professional relationships for many highly regarded composers’ careers. A skilled professional musician himself, he has a proven innate ability to spot emerging talent and has secured a significant number of ASCAP’s most impactful signings.
Todd has produced flagship programs including the revered ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop (LA) for 20 years, Panels & Sessions for the “I Create Music” Expo rebranded as the “ASCAP Experience,” educational master sessions for a number of prestigious University Level Music Programs and International Film Music Festivals as well as the music production & live performances for the ASCAP Screen Music Awards.
Todd’s influence extends globally, advising various European film music festivals, notably the World Soundtrack Awards & Krakow’s FMF and also serves locally on the Songwriters Hall of Fame West Coast Events Committee, and is also a board member for the LA Jazz Society and AIMP LA Chapter.
Todd has contributed to the Professional Development committee as well as the Grammy Next mentor program for the Recording Academy LA Chapter. Todd holds a BA in Studio Music & Jazz Performance (Saxophone)/ Dean’s list (1990) from the University of Miami.

Born in Lima, Peru now residing in Los Angeles, Vargas is dedicated to uplift songwriters’ voices in the music industry through her role as Sr. Director of Creative Sync at Concord Music Publishing, pitching music for advertising and brands. Andrew Wixen
Andrew Wixen began his career in music publishing at the age of thirteen, filing papers for his father at Wixen Music. It was here that he discovered the exciting complexities of the industry. After graduating high school, Andrew attended Northeastern University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Music Business with a minor in Business Administration. He took full advantage of the co-op program, completing three internships: one in the sync department at Warner Special Products, another at Nichion Music in Tokyo, Japan, and a third as a tour manager for the band Left Alone on the Warped Tour.
Upon graduation, Andrew returned to Wixen Music to work with his parents full-time, a role he held until 2023. In August 2024, he founded Simplify Music, a consultancy and advisory firm based in Los Angeles, dedicated to making the music business more accessible for artists. With over 20 years of experience in the music publishing industry, Andrew specializes in royalty reviews, all forms of licensing, and navigating litigation, often resolving disputes through diplomatic measures.
Outside of his professional life, Andrew enjoys maintaining his vegetable garden and playing music, staying connected to his creative roots.

Juliet Lyons
Juliet Lyons is a Billboard-charting, award-winning recording artist and singer/songwriter/composer for film and television. Her voice and original music have been heard on over 300 television shows, advertisements, and major motion pictures including Disney’s Cinderella, Sony PS5’s Until Dawn gameplay trailer, United Artists’ Dog, DreamWorks’ Ghost in the Shell, NBC’s The Voice, MTV’s Catfish, Minted.com, and CBS’ Young and The Restless, among many others.
In addition to her musical works for film and television, Juliet sings, writes, and produces New Age music as a recording artist. Her New Age albums have attained multiple chart positions including a #3 debut on the Billboard New Age charts for “The Light Within: Songs for Yoga, Healing, & Inner Peace,” #1 on both iTunes and Amazon’s New Age charts for “NOVA: An Acoustic Journey,” with music from multiple albums in rotation on Sirius XM’s Spa Channel. In 2022, she collaborated with Grammy® Winners Deepak Chopra, Paul Avgerinos, and Kabir Sehgal on the meditative track, “Identity.”
Juliet’s work has been recognized with two Hollywood Music in Media Awards. She is a Peace Song Award winner, a 2x Independent Music Award nominee, has been a finalist in both the International Songwriting Competition and the USA Songwriting Competition. Juliet holds two music degrees from UMKC Conservatory of Music, having graduated with honors.
Actively engaged in the Los Angeles music community, Juliet is a member of the Recording Academy (voting member, and 2023-2024 Professional Development Committee), Society of Composers & Lyricists (serving on the SongArts committee), Alliance for Women Film Composers, and SONA (Songwriters of North America). She also serves as a judge for the Intercontinental Music Awards, and as Director of Administration for the Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP LA).
Through a lifetime of travel and living abroad, Juliet has a deeply embedded global consciousness. Living in Europe as a young child and later growing up amid the cultural diversity and historical riches of New Mexico instilled a hunger to continue expanding her horizons. She spent a decade living in the Caribbean, prior to moving back to Los Angeles, and has visited nearly 50 countries. Juliet highly values the life-changing experiences of travel – a never ending source of inspiration for her as a musician and as a human.
In 2019, Juliet was diagnosed with the rare airway disease, Idiopathic Subglottic Stenosis. Despite new challenges, Juliet continues to thrive in her career as a singer/songwriter, sharing her passion and resilience through her music.
